Time outs? What about the shell game the On played in the 2nd half


Let's say that for 30 minutes in the 1st we beat the brakes of them, yet only held a 14-0 lead. Not perfect but still very very good. Now the 2nd half offense, where did the pace go? For 3+ quarters VT pretty much dominated. Then to get it down to a 2 min drill with UNC in possession and needing to hold on? Yeah that would have gotten a huge meltdown and justifiably so.

Thank goodness the D bailed out a futile 2nd half from the O.

If they had given that up, Fu and Corny would have a lot of explaining to do (Corny still does IMO).
